Position: Business Development / Sales Executive, Europe

Location: Croydon, London (commutable from Mitcham, Sutton, Crawley, Epsom, Bromley and surrounding areas)

About the Role:

The Business Development / Sales Executive will be responsible for maximising the sales growth of AZOTE products in the European markets as well as managing key customer accounts and new opportunities. Within the role you will analyse markets, identify new product, customer and partner opportunities, generate and follow up on leads and effectively manage customer accounts

In addition you will constantly research and stay up to date with markets and trends and maintain a constant flow of opportunities to develop applications using Zotefoams products. Managing your own pipeline, you’ll spend approximately 60% of your time travelling.

You’ll maintain strong relationships, with external customers, distributors, agents and partners to develop an understanding of OEM, 1st & 2nd tiers and end-users requirements. Additionally, you’ll work closely with the Product Manager to devise and deliver the regional marketing, promotion and channel management strategy for the product range.

About You:

  • To be successful in this role you will have significant business development and sales experience within European/German markets, with a track record of building and implementing solid business relationships. Fluency in German is essential, as well as a strong track record of developing and implementing international sales and business development strategies.
  • A degree (or equivalent) and/or work experience in a scientific or engineering discipline would be ideal. Technical or commercial knowledge of polymers, chemical industry or plastics an advantage, but not essential.
  • Experience of channel marketing strategies would also be beneficial.
  • As a person, you will be positive, enthusiastic and co-operative, with excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to stay focused while at the same time juggling different priorities is essential.
