Zotefoams is pleased to confirm the appointment of German aviation specialist, Wulfmeyer, as our first Approved Fabricator for aerospace under our flagship Global Partner Programme.
Headquartered in Hannover, Wulfmeyer develops and manufactures aircraft interior components, including non-textile flooring, precision-engineered foam parts and adhesive systems. The company serves customers across commercial and business aviation, including major European aerospace OEMs such as Airbus and its complete supply chain.
The announcement comes ahead of Wulfmeyer’s attendance at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg in April.
With Europe’s aircraft order backlog exceeding 17,000 aircraft, equivalent to around 12 years of production, and air traffic forecast to grow steadily through 2026, the partnership comes as aerospace manufacturers face growing pressure to increase output, making closer supply chain collaboration more important than ever.
Formalising and building on a trusted relationship of more than 30 years, the partnership strengthens our capacity to serve our aerospace customers through a specialist fabricator with deep sector knowledge, precision manufacturing capability and close proximity to key European markets. For Wulfmeyer, the partnership brings closer access to the wider product portfolio and technical expertise, creating greater scope to develop new lightweight, high-performance foam applications for the aerospace industry.
The recently launched Global Partner Programme is a framework for working with selected fabricators, distributors and specialist partners across Europe, North America and Asia. Designed to enhance best-in-class service across markets and applications, it offers customers a clearer route to approved partners that meet our stringent standards.
As part of the programme, Wulfmeyer will serve as Zotefoams first Approved Fabricator for aerospace, supporting European customers through its central German base and with specialist expertise in high-precision aircraft foam components.
